Studio NVCBLE is a hub for musicians coming up in Melbourne’s south-east. Three rooms on one floor of an old brew house, open to whoever wants to hang out, meet people, start something and actually finish it.

Come in before you book
Drop by, sit in on a session, meet whoever is around. Most of what gets made here started as somebody hanging about on a day they had nothing booked.

We keep a running list of writers, players and producers who want to be in the room. If you turn up short a drummer or a top-line, ask.

The point of three rooms twelve steps apart is that a song does not sit half-done for six months. Play it, mix it, master it, put it out.

An industrial street, on purpose
Hallam is a working estate, and that turns out to be the best thing about the address. Our neighbours are metal fabricators, machine shops and powder coaters, so nobody on this street has ever complained about a drum take — and it is five minutes off the Monash Freeway and the Princes Highway, which makes it about as easy to get to as anywhere in the south-east.

Easy from Dandenong, Berwick, Narre Warren, Clayton or the city. Nobody has to make an expedition of it.

The nearest house is four hundred metres away. Play as loud as you like, for as long as you like.
